We are a collection of friends and musicians who love the big band sound. We like to interpret contemporary songs too and give them our own special treatments 🙂 We have a residency in Glaways Róisín Dúbh venue playing there every Sunday night from midnight to 2 am!

Happy Sunday to all you beautiful sun-kissed Galwegians. It's been a wild few days of summer and as we prepare for the inevitable cool-down there's still one more night of craic to be had before Monday settles in.

You can catch the Copper Skillets doing their thing in Carroll's on Dominick Street from 6pm. You can catch the fine things in Pyramid banging out the hits in the Kings Head from around 8:30pm

Open Mic Night at Róisín Dubh takes place upstairs at 9:30pm with signup in the smoking area from 9pm. You can find the finest late night DJ's in Taylors Bar from 9:30pm. And if you make it the nights end then consider joining us in the back room of the Roisin Dubh where it's going to get hot and loud until late. We have the legendary Tom Portman back amongst as special guest so bring your dancing shoes!

As we bid farewell to the equine enthusiasts we welcome the fabled Indian summer weather that is surely just around the corner, there's plenty of music going on to keep you entertained...

Massimo's Soul Garden is open from 5pm with sunshine, chilled tunes and some Bleached Jungle Art. The Copper Skillets will be banging out the hits in Carrolls from 6pm. You can catch the ever awesome Pyramid in the Kings Head from around 8:30pm

Black Gate Presents: Irish singer and guitarist Síomha at An Taibhdhearc. Her debut album ‘Infinite Space’ – described by The Irish Times as “a seriously accomplished and self-confident debut” Doors: 8pm

Open Mic Night at Róisín Dubh will be running upstairs at around 9:30pm with signup in the smoking area from 9pm.

And if you make it to the end of the night and you feel like getting your groove on, we will be rolling on stage at around 12 midnight. Tonight we have the epic harmonica virtuoso Maciek Zaworonek as our very special guest. It's going to get hot and loud !

To get you started check out Ar Imeall 2022: Festival Finale: One last party to end the festival in style! Doors from 2pm. As ever there's loads of music to keep you entertained and with the GIAF 2022 just around the corner things are only getting going....

Club Áras na nGael is the venue for this years’ official Ar Imeall Festival for African Culture Day including DJs, Bands, an Art Exhibition, Drumming and much more! Doors open at 12 midday with tickets available at the gate.

There's a brand new Sunday jazz session starting in Monroe's today with the Galway Bay Jazz Band bringing the tunes. Kick off is at 1pm.

Galways answer to the Chippendales, The Copper Skillets bring that Galway summer energy to Carrolls from around 6pm. Ailbhe Hession and her band of smiling Pyramid men will be keeping things moving in the Kings Head from around 8pm.

There's a wild night of comedy running downstairs in the Roisin Dubh with the Comedy KARLnival featuring Glenn Wool and Karl Spain (with support from Micháel Roche & Liz" The Tailor" Gavaghan) Doors open at 8pm

A beautiful bright day to wrap up the weekend with plenty of music to keep you entertained until it's time to go home! DJ Paul Belton will be bringing the summertime to Taylor’s Bar & Beer Garden between 8 and 11pm tonight. The ever awesome Pyramid perform in the Kings Head from around 8:30pm. Yawning Chasm Album Launch at Róisín Dubh. Yawning Chasm is the long-term musical moniker of Galwegian Aaron Coyne. Across six albums, a number of EPs and two albums of covers, Coyne’s music has progressed from bedroom wonderings to universal musings expressed through rusty drum machines, fuzzy electric/bass guitars and synths. ‘The Golden Hour’, Coyne’s 7th Yawning Chasm album, is his first album of new material since May 2020’s ‘Us and Then’.
